I charges fees like other attorneys on the basis
of either hourly or contingent fee basis.
Hourly Fee
This would be for services
in a court case representing the defendant and for other non-court related services
My hourly rate is: $250.00. (the
regular attorneys fee in the county of my office is 275 to 300 dollars)
I enter into the attorney/client
relationship with a contract and a paid retainer.

The retainer is to cover
initial costs of the case or legal matter such as those outlined below.
Contingent Fee
The
contingent fee will be for representing you as the plaintiff in a case.:
A structured fee as follows:
25.0%
of any settlement or judgment reached after we file suit but before a motion to dismiss.
30.0% of any settlement
or judgment reached after we file suit but before a motion to dismiss but before a summary judgment motion.
33.33%
of any settlement or judgment reached after a summary judgment motion but before trial begins.
33.33% of any settlement
or judgment reached after trial begins but before trial ends.
35.0% of any settlement or judgment reached after
trial ends but before an appeal.
40.0% of any settlement or judgment reached after an appeal is filed.
Description
of Fee:
The contingency rate increase is based upon the amount of work required to resolve the case. Should we be awarded
attorneys' fees, the actual contingency fee could be reduced in consideration of various factors. I have, in the past, reduced
every fee when I was awarded attorneys' fees after trial. |
